Prep for the Shower

How exciting!!!!

There hasn't been a baby in the family for a while, and we definitely thought Pam and Rush were going to be proud parents of sweet dogs and a boat. What a surprise! Our first vision was how are they going to turn the bathtub into a crib? Their home is a 1924 Venice beach house, comfortable for 2. And then we heard:

IT'S A BOY!

We are Pam's aunts, Mary McCormick and Thetis Pressley. Connie, Pam's mom, said it would be ok to have the shower at her home since it is centrally located. Just so you know, we will probably have as much fun planning this party as we hope you will have attending.

We will be sending out invitations the week of March 1st.  Pam is still researching what she will really need, and what she can live without because of the space limitations at home.  For those anxious to know the details, the celebration will be:

Pam and Rush are planning a room with blues, greens, and sealife decor with a kelp forest mural on the wall.  The baby will feel right at home when he goes out sailing.

Within the next 2 weeks we will post where Pam is registered.  In addition to researching what she needs, she is also doing some bargin hunting.  So come back to the blog for her list.

Baby bathtub, Piggy bank and nightlight, three 0-3mos. onesies with 2 matching pants, 3 stuffed toys, nursing cover, 2 packs of 6 sets of socks, 3 stuffed toys, UCLA onesie - gifts

When looking up Pam and Rush’s registry online or in store, enter Pam Pressley or Rush Gomez. (a search for Pam Gomez will bring up several other couples but not Pam and Rush)

BabiesRUs.com – extra infant car seat base, items for baby’s room, bedding and clothing, and other items not available at Target (most of the items on Target list can also be found at BabyRUs if out of stock)


Diapers.com – Green Generation diapers, wipes, laundry detergent, and organic baby bath and body care products, baby caps


We welcome used children’s books and clothing!

As you can see, Pam and Rush would like to recycle and maintain a green environment!
